Safety Worker Injured During a Monster Truck Event in Ohio
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an injury accident during the Monster Truck Wars at the Marion County Fairgrounds. The incident occurred on February 25, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m.
During the event, a 56-year-old safety worker was run over by a monster truck. This prompted a response from the Marion City Fire Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Immediately following the incident, the victim was transported to Marion General Hospital before being airlifted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment. His condition remains undisclosed.
